The Universal Jobmatch site is clearly a malfunctioning, hazardous piece of political tripe. But, to be fair, we should hardly expect any better of the scum
that will (and do) use it to steal and manipulate innocent, defenceless unemployed person's personal details, when the 'brains' behind it are bigotted, right-wing, extremist, government mandarins, who are very possibly the worst kind of 'scammers' and 'confidence tricksters' imaginable!

When Mr Farage appeared in Edinburgh a few months ago; if nobody turned up because nobody was interested, then the BBC would be wrong to include him on the panel because his opinion obviously carries no weight in Scotland. Having said that, he DID attract an audience and a lot of media attention when he came to Edinburgh, therefore he is a politician who is not being underestimated or ignored by the people of Scotland, for this reason the BBC made a very astute decision to include him in the panel.

So your assertion is simply that the three judges and the two women who were heckled - excuse me, the two women who said they were heckled and all three judges references this too - are all lying (for unknown motivations) and in fact the GUU audience showed complete, perfect courtesy to all six debaters?

Interesting.

If more men paid for their own children then single mothers wouldn't have to claim as many benefits. It really is that simple. I think that absent fathers are an issue and that this needs to be talked about in the house of commons. There are intelligent, women unable to pursue their careers and can't work because they can't afford all the costs of childcare and most employers are not flexible now. If men were challenged by the csa then maybe the women would be able to go back to work and afford childcare.

Oh how easy it is to jump on a bandwagon when you don't have facts (and I say facts rather than hearsay!). I understand there was a recording of the event. 2 hours or so of it, submitted by someone that is removed from day to day participation in the Union. I understand it was very clear on the issue of sexist heckling.

The complaint has been heard, and it has been found wanting, but it seems that some people only accept justice if it goes their way. This doesn't serve the feminist cause but rather discredits it.

We should fight misogyny at every opportunity, but we should fight it with fact, and reason, and skill. We should fight for change, and encourage it, and coax it. We should win hearts and minds rather than points and prizes. This is real life, not a debating competition, and it seems that some people have lost sight of that.

Also, since when in Scots Law do complainers have the right of representation? Why would a complainer even expect to be allowed representation? Isn't that the prosecutor's job? I'm surprised that Marlena doesn't know this given her choice of degree.
